I thought I would write to thank you and all the staff at the school for making my grandson’s first experience of school such a positive and rewarding one, with a special thanks of course to Mrs Butler. I asked my grandson today how he was finding school. His response was ‘I love it’. This was said with great gusto (understatement). I then asked what especially did he like about school - his response, again said extremely enthusiastically, was ‘absolutely everything!!’. I cannot think of a greater compliment about your school, teachers and staff than that! Thank you so much for all of your  hard work and it is much appreciated - a happier bunch of children going into school would be hard to find. September 2024

In a time when people are very quick to complain, I wanted to just let you know how pleased we are with the boys’ experience at Roundwood; the school has educated, supported and nurtured them exceptionally this year. July 2024

A great school in which my child is thriving. He enjoys learning but most of all he is happy to go to school everyday. July 2024 

Will be a shame when my child leaves in July because I know that he has really enjoyed Roundwood. The caring ethos of the school shines through and I particularly love the emphasis that has been placed on personal development. The pupil passport is a fantastic initiative - and it's a shame my son wasn't in an earlier year group. School is not just about the curriculum - and Roundwood has succeeded in bringing out the best in children. Roundwood and all the staff - you will be missed! July 2024

I just wanted to send a note to say thank you for another great sports day at Gawcott yesterday. Another successful event! It was great to see the children, and staff team, having so much fun. Also, the children did such a great job of cheering each other on. So nice to see such positivity. June 2024

I just wanted to pass our huge thanks to the school, Mrs Kent and everyone that helped with making the children's Longridge residential trip so special. Our daughter had a fantastic time and speaking with some of the other parents it sounds like they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I hope that the teachers and staff that looked after our children will be enjoying a well earned weekend break. Thank you for making such special memories for the children. I just wanted to say how enormously grateful we are to you all for making our daughter's  first residential school trip so wonderful. She had the best time. As a parent, I so appreciated the constant communication with updates and photos. And when problems arose (I forgot bunny AND the wash bag!) these were resolved with care and understanding, going above and beyond to make her feel at ease. I truly appreciate it. . I am writing to express our families thanks for your organisation of the Echoes event. This has been an unbelievably great experience for our children and that would not have happened without the support you provided. It must have been an exceptionally long day for you which would have meant a prolonged period away from your own homes and families whilst supporting our children; not to mention having to go into school first thing the next day. We are genuinely thankful that you provide such rich learning experiences for our children. Thank you for being so great! April 2024
 

An email to say thank you to the staff for making the choir trip to the Royal Albert Hall so special for our son. It is one he will remember for a long long time and so will we. It was incredible to watch, so proud of Roundwood, but a special thank you for instilling an inspiration in him with regards to his piano playing, in an orchestra, and seeing this from a back stage perspective. He has had the best day and thank you for looking after him so well. April 2024

Just a very quick note from me to share some positive feedback. The phonics QR codes that Mrs Field sent him with Y1 this week is such a clever idea. I just wanted to say I thought it was great. As is the online parents evening booking and online permission slips etc. April 2024

I have just spent a lovely afternoon at Roundwood. I was made to feel very welcome, I had a little tour of the school and was offered some delicious school made cakes, but the real highlight of my afternoon was watching the year 3 and 4 Easter production You Are Special. It was a really special event. March 2024
