Welcome to Roundwood Primary School

Dear parents, carers and children,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Roundwood Primary School. I believe we are much more than a school, we are a family and a community. In our leafy village location, away from distractions, we offer a personalised learning experience, going above and beyond, to nurture our children to be the best that they can be.

We specialise in building precious human beings that are ready to embark upon life-long learning and discovery. Our priority will always focus on our children’s well-being and happiness; as from this academic success will follow.

We are proud of the curriculum we deliver, which we believe inspires children, prepares them for secondary school, and equips them with the skills and values they need to thrive in future society and the wider world.

The children benefit from rich outdoor learning experiences, enabling them to appreciate the beauty of nature while also providing valuable opportunities to take appropriate risks. As Roald Dahl once said, “The more risks you allow children to take, the better they learn to take care of themselves,” which we believe is essential for their future development.
